I have decided to let this one be for now. though I might add more detail to the shed some time.
Really nice, especially for your first project post. 1 crit - the foreground is a bit boring - it’s snow, but the image seems to cut off 2/3 down. Beautiful trees, nice shack, very well done.
yeah is see what you mean. back to the WIP section!
i gota a question though… how do i do that them nail picture thing in the forum section?
Maybe some saplings, or footprints…something. MAybe some vegetation poking through the snow. Rocks, an animal…very beautiful though. Feels cold and isolated.
You need to attach the image to see a forum thumbnail, not making an inline link.
I´d like to see a wireframe to figure out how much is model and how much is image - as I guess the background is an image.
I think everything behind the trees is a bg plate. Nice composite though - it doesn’t feel separate.
Everything looks good except that building. Needs loads of details.
Thanks BrainsUnlimited and 3dmedieval.
Yeah I didn’t go into huge detail on the building, I guess i could though. any suggestions?
Ill see what i can do about a wire frame.
I made the grass in the tire tracks more visible. and added some bumps and waves closer to the camera .
Im rendering it now so ill post it up in the WIP section when its done.
Very nice trees. And mountains. How did you achieve them.
Thanks. Just a plane in the back ground with a image texture on it.
bumping…
The trees look good! how did you make them?
Looks nice. That little bit of detail in the foreground helped a lot.
I guess you followed Andrew Price’s tutorial? (http://www.blenderguru.com/let-it-snow/)
Nicely done, I agree with the rest, you have blended the model from the background image nicely.
Looks nice, yeah that resembles the one from the tutorial of Blenderguru.
