Something cold as the northern half of the world goes into winter. I tried to pick up both the beauty of this time of year, and the foreboding of nightfall in the snow. (especially when nasty critters are around)
Any and all criticism is welcome!
I like it - good job, especially the lighting and the trees. And I kept noticing more animals/birds I didn’t see to start with, it started to feel creepy 
My only criticism is that the ground in the foreground could be better as it takes up so much of the image - maybe some tracks, stones, lumps of snow to break it up.
