I am currently designing a character to use as a pre-rendered sprite for a computer game, a girl with a dress. Modelling is going fine (incomplete yet), but when I tested the softbody dress, the dress simply falls through the character body, and yes, I did assign the character as a deflector. The funny part is that in my animation, there’s a cube below the character, and it’s also a deflector that normally collides with the dress. Any tip?
I think the deflector has to be on the same layer as the softbody object.
You were right. Apparently during the modeling process I moved by accident one of the objects to another layer. Many thanks.
not the layer, but just a common layer. So you can designate a layer, like 15, to be the common layer for all things that collide. The girl can be on 1 and 15, and the dress on 2 and 15.
