Serious 3D modeling noob here—I’m trying to make a solid wireframe dodecahedron. I can get as far as using Faces > Wireframe on the model, but can’t figure out how to avoid making ‘wires’ for the edges that subdivide each face. Sorry for no doubt missing the correct terminology
What object are you starting with ? You can get rid of the edges intersecting faces with the X / limited Dissolve option. You can also use the Wireframe modifier which you can adjust non destructively
