SOLVED! - I cannot paint on my model in texture paint...but can on the UV image...need help

I was doing fairly well before. I have unwrapped. Applied textures to my objects. All the normals are facing outward correctly. But when in the Texture Paint window with the draw brush selected nothing happens on the object. When I go over to the smaller UV window I can paint there but still, no color appears on the model. I am in the Material Preview mode. I can’t figure out why the color won’t appear.

Found my problem. Oh the Texture Slots dropdown it was set to Single Image mode. Once I selected Material it worked.
