About the Job
The primary responsibility of our art team is to create cutscenes for our learning software that are both thrilling and memorable for the students playing. Specifically, you will:
- Create 3D sci fi assets, including models, PBR materials, and environments cohesive with our signature style
- Animate, light, and render 5-30sec cutscenes involving dramatized depictions of real-world science, set in a distant future. Think Magic School Bus on steroids
- Collaborate remotely with our art team, using organizational/communication tools like Slack and Asana Work together with our content team, who are responsible for incorporating STEM education standards into an engaging sci fi story
- Actively improve skill set and abilities by keeping aware of industry trends and techniques, evaluating competitive products, learning new software packages and traditional art methods
- Perform any other related tasks that may be required
Skills/Requirements
- 2-3 years minimum experience in a relevant field (game dev, 3D animation, etc)
- High proficiency in Blender Eevee
- Proactive and effective communicator and team player
- Very effective at managing time on tight deadlines
