solved - Is there a way to select only the bones used in a previously saved pose in the pose library. I would like to be able to key only those bones that have changed from one pose to another without selecting all the bones individually. I was going to use the pose library to key phonemes. I would like to only key those bones that impact the pose at the start and the finish without having to select each individual bone that makes up the pose. Is this doable?
I think you need to check out keying sets. Seems like that is what you are talking about.
Well I did find one simple solution. I moved all the bones I was going to use to its own layer. Then I can select all bones in that layer and enter the keys. Animate the results. Then switch layers as needed. Seems to work fine.
