I can try this tutorial in blender 2.77 and i have a problem.
Only view the Tracer particles, the Float and Drops dissapear!!.
Any can help me?.

I think it is a bug.
If select tracer and float, add more particles in Physics > Fluid > fluid type > particle.
If only select float or only select drops, dont show any particles.
@Dulana57 Its actually pretty simple once you find how.
When you create the fluid sim, you have to create a new other object and then give it particles in the Fluid settings, then bake.

Sorry!, I didn’t see that question!!. It doesn’t matter anymore anyway, since we now have mantaflow which is the new fluid system and that tutorial is outdated. Greetings!
