... something like a water slide curve alignment Geometry Nodes issue?

This was created using Geometry Nodes.

I referred to this tutorial.

But the tutorial didn’t mention how to solve it. I’ve been trying for a long time and still can’t figure it out…

  1. As shown in the image at the red circle, there is a misalignment problem at the connection between the ring and the support whenever there is Z-axis movement (up or down). This issue does not occur on flat surfaces. I’ve tried many methods suggested by GPT, but I still can’t solve this problem. I’d like to ask for advice on how to resolve it.

2.As shown in the image at the blue circle, the protrusions on the left and right sides of the ring are my concern. Ideally, the head and tail would match what I drew in the image, and there would be a smooth transition from start to finish. However, no matter how much I try, I can’t achieve this. I hope someone can teach me how to resolve this issue. Thank you!

This is the test file of my current progress:
test1116.blend (4.6 MB)

Tried to fix it. Is this what you were aiming for?

test1117.blend (4.7 MB)

Very very very very Sorry…I just forgot to include the reference materials.

I just realized that some of the nodes are incorrect. I remembered that I’m using version 4.1, and you might be using 4.2, so I double-checked, and it turns out your method is exactly what I need! It looks like the only way to solve these two issues is in version 4.2.

Thank you so much! You’ve helped me start studying how they work in detail. Thank you!
