Sound editors

(dreamsgate) #1

Anyone know of a good sound editor that will let me change the characteristics of character voices (without alot of technical buttons, slide bars and such)?

What I would like is to be able to record dialog and then make it sound like someone or something else, regional accents would be nice too.

And or does someone know how to write one?

(And yes I have run my own searches for this, for the last 3 days)

Without those “technical” buttons and slide bars you won’t be able to change any sound, sorry.

A good program that I’m using in windoze is cooledit http://www.cooledit.com . It’s not free but good.

Sound Forge xp. Same people who make Acid Music. Very good, but not cheap. By the way Dreamsgate, I couldn’t open file attachment in your e-mail message in regards to a meeting. erl01741eric
