Hi guys!
I would like to share with you the latest visualization project.
Visualizations based on photos made by Kyungsub Shin, Yong-Kwan Kim, Wan Soon Park
Images depict a real building designed by Mass Studies
The project was created in Blender and rendered with Octane engine
These images really showcase what “visualization” ought to do: to show a structure in context. (Realistic settings, and multiple seasons.) The camera viewpoints and settings are both realistic and imaginative. Yes, including the sheep … but the sunlighting works really well, too. Little touches, like “out-of-focus flowers in the foreground.”
This is superb work, the images could probably be entered into an architectural photography competition and would not easily be spotted as “fake”. The sheep in the animation are amazingly convincing. As the comment above points out this level of convincing imagery and animation is an example of what people doing visualisation aspire to. Well done seems an inadequate thing to say, but all languages have limits.
Thank you very much!
This is my personal project and is based on photos, because IMO it is the best training how to achieve realism. I do recommend it to everybody who wants to be good at realism to recreate photos in 3D - here is an original project with amazing photos: https://www.archdaily.com/965148/southcape-owners-club-clubhouse-mass-studies
