Space Sphere Maps? (HDRi, sIBL, sky map..)

I can locate many sites with freely downloadable HDRi spheremaps of earthly surroundsings (gardens, ruins, deserts etc) to use as spherical texture background environment. But I can locate nearly nothing when it comes to outer space, especially containing a low orbit planet, including decent atmosphere, clouds etc etc. Of course, the latter are artificialy usually, unless it’s earth … as fotographers have some difficulties out in space  I know there’s ways to do it differently, but I’d like to locate such spherical maps … I find them easiest to handle for a quick, nonrenderintensive Sci Fi setting. It should contain the planet with its strongly luminous atmopshere, though, to create some decent lighting.

Does anyone know where to get this? Alternatively, a procedural planet generators, but I have yet to see one creating realistic low orbit pictures. Terragen maybe?

Does it have to be free? Dosch has space HDRIs for sale…

Terragen can do planets, and it can also do HDR format.

Here’s a vid someone made of a low-orbit planet…

Here’s the Terragen site. They’ve got a free version but the resolution is limited.

ETA: Here’s a 360x180 pano that somebody rendered in Terragen.

Use blender.

Sphere or Cube with procedural universe on the inside.
Create second sphere with rectangular texture mapped to it, set it to perfect mirror and bake the outer sphere on the inner one.
You get nice results and also can place random procedural planets inside your miniverse.

This is just a camera render, but you can easily bake it to a equirectangular map:
