The character is rendered in EEVEE, made mostly in Blender with the help of Zbrush for the sculpt, textures made in Substance Painter.
65k triangles in total. 30 days of production during free time.
It such a sick character design! Saw your intro to the tutorial last night, simply amazing!!!
PS im had a look at that artist you got the design from. Man he has some amazing art, kinda baffled hardly any comments on his art?!?!
I like how the screen-right shoulder seems to weigh on him on that pose, makes it look like a more realistic depiction of that game character style.
Also, since the body parts that stick out of the armor have normal proportions, then by extrapolation, he either has a very tall torso or an insanely long neck. Sorry that’s where my imagination went. I’m not criticizing, this looks awesome.
