I was wondering if there was a way to parent only specific properties of an object to another object. For example, I need a empty to copy a objects position but not its rotation or size. Any help would be great.
You’ll want to use the Child Of Constraint for that. After you attach the constraint, be sure to turn off both the Scale and Rotation button sets in the constraint panel, and click “Set Offest” to get things to a good starting position.
