Here is another model I am creating of a speeder from Star Wars, I am just creating it as practice but hope to complete it and a whole scene to be my first officially finished blender project, lol.
Anyway, crits and comments please, I am still at a very early stage of developement, about 2 hours of work.

It is completely finished apart from of course, textures/bump mapping/etc.
If there are no crits, I will begin working on the scene.

I don’t know if the engine should be so smooth though. Maybe make it a bit more hard-edged? But I haven’t seen one of them in a while so I could be wrong

A very rough sketch of the scene I am going to be going for, that pic took me a good 5 minutes 
2 storm troopers chasing a jedi, an AT-ST shooting at the jedi but missing… everything out of focus except for the speeders

I won’t be on for about 2-3 weeks as I am moving house and losing the internet for a few weeks.
So when I post next it, should be as close to completion as I can get it without the internet

I agree about that the engine shouldn’t be so smooth.
I have a cool idea for a scene, but maybe it is too hard to make.
But if you have a flying speeder that is just turning in high speed.
Then you place the camera so it looks a bit upwards to the speeder.
Put an AT-ST behind it in the background.
Just a suggestion, do just as you want, it will look very cool anyway you make it.
