Hey. i recently started an animation studio! Yay! We’re about 60% through our first project, though it’s actually 2d, but I digress. I thought, “I’ll make a title card in Blender!” So, I set about it. Basically, I wanted it to look like sphagnum (moss) was growing on my logo. I don’t want it too be realistic at a macro level, but I still am aiming for semi-photoreal. The one problem I’m having right now, is it looks a bit too much like grass. Any critiques welcome!
I got some ideas, not sure if their good.
Maybe:
try making the particles out of planes instead of round objects.
try making it less dense, but have a couple non-intersecting layers.
try adding slight tone changes.
for a logo…
Think of visibility ; no moss effect just keep it green.
and you might put in the name of your company because this doesnt ring a bell to me.
Perhaps even add CG studio or so… if this was your business card backside its unclear; your logo should speak and tell at least a bit what its about. Unless your real popular have mass production etc then you can do a a single line shape like Nike sport shoes did, else give some hints use text, or change logo
