Spider

cool  wasn’t expecting to see this on the featured row.
@wph4: you’re right, the strand should be a lot thinner to be realistic. I went ahead and made it thicker so it’d still be visible in a low res version

@threediva: the idea was to have the spider build a web on the plant, and we’re seeing the first strand being made

@khalibloo: hm, good point. Maybe there’s a misty breeze? I probably should have put some drops on the plant as well

Very subtle yet effective. outstanding work. Definitely worth to be in a featured row.

@Jeepster  misty breeze, huh? the humidity must be thru the roof

but still i dont think u should remove the droplets unless u have a way of making the web more shiny…it’d look boring without the droplets

Excellent work…

Definitely fantastic work and I like very much the mood it creates, specifically through it’s use of color. I am also impressed at how subtle (not over complicated) the elements are yet it tells it a full story. Lastly, it’s also an awesome example of how a short “Weekend Challenge” can become gallery material. Simply wonderful on many levels!

Hi,
Excellent work! the line of the fabric is too thick I think

Golly, this is fantastic. I LOVE the spider. Great work!

Jeepster, nice cinematic work. If possible, can you provide some summary or details of your lighting? Thanks.
