My take on across the spiderverse ,

here are some of the breakdown of assets and effect
- started with creating buildings , setup lots of cube and created a shader which randomize texture on duplicating object
- after doing bit of modeling, added fog and some lowpoly cars, and putting it all together, this is how it looks
- side by side started working on web rig , it was a very simple rig , but the most challenging part was to make it stick to the other end and keep it there while spidy swings ,
- after working on web , i did another pass of animation , it was shaping out quite well , but still lots of issues were there , and at this point i was not much happy with overall motion
- after animation, i started working on look development , added few lights , did some color grading , and came up with this
- this is how i did distortion effect , it was all Realtime on viewport , it was just a simple glass shader on a sphere
- spiderman shader- it was the most challenging part , it has unique features like dual rim which animates randomly and display slight strokes on the model ,
It took lots of time and effort , but in the end i am quite happy with the results , it could have been better i know , but for now time to start another project
