I made this video of the spinning earth using the blue marble textures from NASA. The actual Resolution goes up to 4000x4000 pixel. But the uploaded version is only 1080p :). This video was shown at open house day at my university. We projected the video on a wall with some nice background music.
I wanted to share it with you guys, as this Video can be used in an endless loop for whatever purpose you like.
