nice work here !
what is the work flow from Blender model to CNc ?
you export as what ?
STL then use external program to convert to G code or else ?
just wondering here !
by the way how much man hours is involved in doing that stair in 3D
and what cost and time for doing the milling ?
thanks

Thank you!
In Blender modeled ornament parts. In Rhino modeled all nurbs surface.
Ornament exported to (OBJ). Then all the parts add up to Rhino.
Milling program is written in PowerMill.
Time spent much. Approximately 10 days for modeling ornament and correction in Rhino.
About 5 days to write and correct the program.
Oh wow, that’s beautiful! Wonderful work!
Thank you!
Fantastic work! I’m looking forward to seeing the completed handrail For curiosities sake how big is the CNC machine your using? I’ll have to look up PowerMill, it’s not easy finding decent 5 axis CAM software from what I’ve discovered over the years.
Very big - 5x1.5m working surface.
PowerMill - a powerful tool, but expensive.
i’m curious can you give the name CNC manufacturer and may be show us a photo of it with some length reference
just to see how big it is
is it 5 axis machine ?
thanks

Wondering here
did you check all parts so that it is structurally sound ?
I mean some parts seems to be very thin so wondering how safe it is !
but it looks great
thanks

This is awesome!.. though could it hold weights? It might break… and it was so beautiful!
that is looking great
very high class and classical I guess
are you doing plaster molds for less expensive one?
happy bl
Only wood.
