My OC Krayne, the Western Fence Bluebelly Lizardman, playing the part of the farm scarecrow! He definitely likes it and is happy to spook any crows that land near him, expecting him to just be a normal scarecrow!
I got the idea for this about 3 days ago, so I didn’t have much time to get it done before the 31st. I would have modeled the corn, the pumpkins and the barn myself but knowing me i’d end up spending way too much time making procedural GN versions of those props and would have spent way too much time making the barn look old. Not to mention all the textures!
The character model is a heavily customized and blenderized version of the Genesis 8 Male from Daz3D
I made everything else in Blender.
The outlines were made with Grease Pencil (I rendered out three different line thicknesses so I could control the line weight better in Photoshop.
The rest is processed by photoshop to get the final image and that stylized look. So I separate out and render all the different passes and put them back together in PS, which gives me a lot more control of the “toon” look.
