Just letting you know that Stan Winston, the one behind the magic of Terminator, Jurassic Park, and countless other films… has died. He was a genius of practical effects and animatronic characters. He will be missed.

I was reading about this earlier, very unexpected… a master of many crafts, now gone. Thankfully, we are left with everlasting samples of his work.
That is so sad. He was genius and was one of the first to be able to make latex and hydraulics come alive, before there was any sort of computer graphics.
His work was much appreciated and admired.
