I’m going to be honest here.
The initial things I noticed about the render:
- The number of stars in the center is to large, and the stars are too small to really focus on.
- The density shift could use smoother falloff.
- The colors of the cluster stars are too similar. A bit of color variance would help break it up and give some visual interest.
- The size difference between the cluster and the outer stars is too jarring.
Another thing to note is that for large scale space scenes like this, it helps to up the focal length of the camera a bit. Doing so makes it appear to be larger.
I really like the concept, and I think it could be awesome if you do some final touchups. Good luck!
