I thought of a few more things I could do. if you need some concept art, i am your man. also, i never thought about it, but I could probably do some costume design. also, a question: will this show have new aliens? because If it does, I have several alien races I have invented over the years, (even background, how their tech works, how they use their tech, how the race acts. how the race reacts to other races, what type pf planets/stations/ships the race has, and what they look like, everything)
and I have made drawings of several of them. including this one, which I am quite proud of:
name: Amourieyans (can change)
history: the Amourieyans are a quite, law abiding race. they do not like violence, and will go to any length to prevent it. however, if violence is unavoidable, the entire race enters into a total war, as to end the fighting as soon as possible. once, the Amourieyans were forced to do this, but the enemy had a special weapon, that attacked the amourieyans immune system. the race nearly died out, but managed to preserve themselves by placing a quarantine on all of their planets. the race still lives, but they have no immune system. the common cold could kill one of them within minutes. therefore, they go to extreme measures to preserve purity. all of there planets have state of the art filtration systems, and no one is allowed to enter or leave their domain without being purified.
tech: the Amourieyans use crystals that cover the surface of their planet, (Gre’hedre Zå) the crystals can absorb energy from rifts in the space time continuum, which emit a form of anti-matter. the crystals absorb the anti-matter and than release it slowly over a period of weeks. the Amourieyans found that if you cut the crystals in certain ways, the crystals will either store, or release the energy with more force. also, all Amourieyans wear a specially cut crystal around their necks, because it cleans the air around them.
ships:
Amouriyan ships are remarkably similar to the human concept of light sail craft. except instead of using light as a direct force, the Amourieyan sails are made of crystals woven together. they absorb the energy from Space time rifts, and reflect it back with more force than when it was absorbed. however, they can also use a magnetic field to alter the shape of the crystals, so instead of reflecting the light, they pass it into batteries within the ship, to be used either as a more powerful Anti-matter torch, or, if absolutely necessary, a weapon.
diplomacy: the Amourieyans are usually welcoming to new alien races, so long as the stranger allows himself to be purified. they usually are more than happy to share their tech with them, in exchange for new tech from the alien.

EDIT: forgot to mention. I have never tried to model the Amourieyan’s, but I am thinking of trying. if you are interested, I will have a go at it 
looks cool though, never was a fan of the new star trek series’ I’m more of a Shatner man myself haha.
