This is the first look at a Motion Picture Era design - USS Erickson.

i didnt like how the engeneering section looked just like a beveled cube, so i remodeled it.

modeled the iconic yellow reaction control markings on the saucer

and some detailing on the aft section

new follow up
the back of the engeneering hull was a bit too empty, so i added panels

i tweaked the saucer color and added pinstriping

here the pinstriping on the lower side of the saucer is barely visible but i will upload some more detail shots and other angles soon

here you can see the back of the nacelles and the shuttle bay more clearly

started work on interior and made a proper deck plan, i noticed that the rows of windows were quite narrow compared to the contitution class, so less windows and taller ceilings.
i dont have a type 4 shuttle yet but i will put something in there soon.

I rescaled the ship to match the official tmp enterprise scale, despite 305m for the refit is too small to fit the rec deck and cargo bay inside… but whatever thats not my project i stick with the 305m reference and so my ship is about 303m in length, 184m wide and 49.9m in height.
It got on my nerves to shrink the entire interior, but at least the walkways and ceiling heights seem a bit more coherent now… except for the recreation deck, which is tiny.
