Hi everyone,
in december I’ve set myself a challenge to model and 3D print a Stargate as a christmas present for my wife. It’s the second model I’ve printed so far. Alas not everything went as well as I would’ve liked (some details are too small since I had limits on the overall size of it), but overall I’m pretty happy. Learned a lot regarding efficient modeling techniques.
The model is close to 900k triangles. Next step is to paint the 3D print with model colors.
