Starship landing on Mars

Just my interpretation of what SpaceX’s Starship might look like landing on Mars in the near future with windows for its crew. I imagine the first iterations will be quite small to save weight/structural limitations but I could be wrong.

All tiles are individual objects, if you look closely you can see some procedural wear and tear. Smoke effects could definitely be improved on the landing shots

Looking good, but one thing that’s missing is the landing legs. I’m curious about what they will look like exactly, but perhaps they will be derived from the HLS version? Here’s hoping that SpaceX can send a Starship or two during the next transit window

Your colors make me curious- are you red/green color blind?

It is an interesting question. I’d imagine they would be similar to HLS but who knows. Perhaps there might be some fort of mechanism which catches the ship that is pre-sent to the landing site. Lower gravity makes it easier to be more accurate but I can see how that is the less likely solution but its my way of getting out of designing landing legs that actually look good on starship. Thanks for the feedback

Well the HDRI was made from a photo taken by Perseverance although I will admit its a bit more on the green side. Thanks for the feedback!

I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
