"Start it over" a song and video

Hi!

So this video was made with Blender 4.1. I recorded the footage
back in 2010 with a cheap DV cam and realized that it would not cut
it as the main focus… so stuff never happened but after my parents
passed away in 2021-22 of alzhemiers and dementia I got back to the idea
and now it clicked… I made the video stuff as a comic book instead and animated stuff around it to boost the over all resolution.

Sure it was not fun to motiontrack the DV material but I added shadows and stuff just to make it more interesting using old paintings I made around
elementary school… images my mom made and so on.

I had to settle with eevee in order to get a sporting chance to render it all
with my GTX 3060Ti since it was lots of frames/memory. It took way too long
to complete but in the end I got a sort of personal memory of my
parents through images and sound… and a bit of grief of the world today
found its way into it also when I made the last bits…

There are no character rig animations… mostly direct animation on planes
or simple deforms based on vertex groups.

I learn stuff as I go along and this was my third full animation so I am proud
of the result. The song was made almost 26years ago where I completed
it in 2010 and added some layers to it making this video so now it is complete.

I am, very simply, "absolutely stunned." I really don’t know how to write the next line.

But, I will try.

I feel that I just saw a loving glimpse of them, and might I add, also of you?" (I do not intend to be “forward” by suggesting this.)

The endless fountain of “pure creativity” of this piece is stunning, as is the entire technical execution. I never had any idea what the next ten seconds would bring. I cannot conceive of a more fitting memorial.

Perhaps … such a wonderfully unlimited world … is where they are now.

“Requiescat en pace” … nah … who has time for “Requiescat!” Let the new adventures begin.

Absolutely love your music and videos. Reminds me of Alan Parsons. Thank you for the inspiration!

I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
