Hey everyone! Here’s a fun project we just completed. My wife and I work together as board game illustrators, but since we also have a background in animation, we are often hired to do all the marketing pieces for our games, ranging from still 3d renders to full-action animated trailers. Steampunk Rally Fusion is one of those games!
So basically we did everything below, from rendering and compositing the shots, to illustrating the actual game components. This is all rendered in Eevee + some compositing done in either Photoshop or After Effects.
We also animated this 3 min trailer for the launch of the Kickstarter campaign. It’s still live if you want to have a look! We did most of the graphic design, renders, and animated gifs on that page as well.
