After learning Blender for about 7 months I think I have my first renders worth posting.

Left side view in which I use a tiny F-stop to try to hide the tiling texture

I probably would have made some adjustments (for example, shifting the texture over in the last one instead of hiding it with DOF) but each image took about 2.5 hours to render.

By the way, “set smooth” is only used on three objects in the scene. Any guesses which ones?

Definitely worth posting. Brushed metal, plastic handle materials looks awesome. The other metal parts look too glossy, as if they were plastic instead of metal.
