I did this artwork to try the new Blender 3.0 features, specially to try Cycles X and learn some geo nodes. What a huge speed up! sculpted with zbrush and textured with Substance painter.
so the sss value is quite high, the problem is when sss value is high a lot of skin details are missing, to fix it is quite easy you just have a reddish map with low saturation and set to non color data and plug into sss radius.
this is similar to using autobump in sss on arnold maya.
