Strange camo-like patchy visual glitch on mesh and popping in and out of geometry

There’s this weird visual glitch I’m experiencing on my donut icing and the floor is popping in and out. This started happening out of nowhere.

I think you are having a problem with the clip start and clip end values.

When a scene is either very large or very small, you have to adjust the minimum and maximum view distances to match the scale of the scene, or else the depth of objects becomes inaccurate.

There are also similar settings on the camera itself for the rendering process.

Hey ETN, those values are at their min/max and it’s still happening.

You don’t want to set them at extremes. You want the min value as high as possible and the max value as low as possible. Basically, you want to have the rendered region as narrow as possible without visibly cutting what is close or far from the camera.

Okay great, thanks. It’s all good now. Very strange though because it was working fine in previous sessions. In any case I’ve matched the clip start and end to the same as your image and everything is looking fine now.
