strange output when render in the 3D view, why?

I’ve tested the file on from Blender 2.25 to 2.34, official or cvs build (including gabio’s updated bf-blender / Windows (2004/10/26) ). All is the same. What is the matter?

Wow, it’s so simple it can’t be too much. Renders fine of my system, the only thing that seems out of the ordinary to me is the shadow buffer on your spot is way high.

I get the same err even when I render the default cube. Donno whether my graphics gives the trouble or not.
Any way, thank you for reply. It is difficult to get a reply on the forum

Any chance you could just post the blend? I’d like to test this.

It probably only affect how the image is displayed, not the actual render data, so it should save ok.

Theeth - you’re right but it still should be looked into right?

Of course, but if it proves to be a GFX card glitch, at most we could try to find a work around (assuming said work around doesn’t break other cards…).
