Blender is doing this strange grid mirroring only on one computer. New files also have the issue.

Ha! Am i sleeping?
As for the GPU I need to check. If it is a gpu issue what are some possible solutions?
Update your GPU drivers. Other than that, I’m not sure of any workarounds. File a bug report.
Judging by how it is dividing the 3dview area into 2 triangles, it seems like something isn’t right with how it is drawing the viewport.

A real low effort workaround is to only work in the lower left half of your screen

There are some Gpu debug options within Blenders directory.
Hope that helps.

Thanks everyone for your comments! The GPU was updated but the problem persisted. Will try the blender debug gpu.
Do you know if your GPU is intergrated, ATi, or Nvidia?
The blender_debug_gpu_glitchworkaround fixed a problem with my ATI card.
Hope that helps.
