Strange triangle shading on model



Hi I am trying to model a bear head but it’s not going so well. I am extruding vertices around the head trying to get the right shape. This has resulted in some weird shading on the model. Any way I can fix this?

Have you checked the direction of the normals?

It’s the same weird shading except flipped when I flipped the normals. I think some of the quads are bent and not perfectly straight. Is there a way to straighten out bent quads?

You can select all vertices and click Normals: Recalculate in the Shading/UVs tab to the left.
