Any idea to help me why my textures streching when i export them from substance painter ?
Is it because of my UV map on blender ?
We will need far more information to help out with this…it would be better to see a view with your UV layout in Blender, as well as your Material settings and object …
OK…and you Material Nodes, please…
( As it is I see only some minor stretching around the area that makes the bottom and top faces of the handle, where it curves around…I would have also placed a seam around the handle at those places so the bottom and top were unwrapped as a circle…)
In case you are talking about what is outside of your UV islands: https://helpx.adobe.com/substance-3d-painter/technical-support/workflow-issues/export-issues/texture-dilation-or-padding.html
That will be very useful for him
Oh okay i will be adding that seams…
I dont have any material on blender, also not any materials on meshes…
I bake lp on subtance painter with hight poly mesh, then imported low poly mesh and textured it with some rusty metal and a planks for handle…
There is not a problem here until i export my textures for unreal engine…
Its not a problem because its working right on unreal… but i want to know that why my texture streching like that ? yeah my uv maps look okay on texture but the blank sides are streching why ?
So thats a good feature for my model… thank you for your reply
