Simple animatronics, potentially stop-mo… Although that’s doubtful.
I found it well made but not overly amazing or worthy of any more recognition than most commercials of that sort. Yoda from the original Star Wars films was much more complex than the rig used here.
Still, goes to show that animatronics will always surpass the realm of CGI, this I am glad for.
