I’m just starting with a new podcast (I used to host CG Talks podcast before - but it is brand related and I wanted to start an indie thing of my own).
Here’s a teaser for the first episode with Chris McFall founder of Hollow Pixel as guest : https://youtube.com/shorts/nOjbIY8ugBA?feature=share
Teaser sounds very good! If anybody wants to listen in a podcast app: the links for all the clients are here: https://rephonic.com/podcasts/subsurface-talks-2. (I used the plain RSS feed for PocketCast)
Thanks. I really appreciate there are people listening and enjoying it! I’m working on getting the next one soon (trying to have one a month as the baseline). This time it will be someone doing really pro compositing (like Hollywood level). That is something some 3d people ignore - and really it is a true superpower that allows for so much in image creation. Of course Blender is not the ‘industry standard’ in this are - but I guess that will make the episode even more interesting.(as the guest uses both Nuke and Blender :)). OK. enough spoilers
Consider me intrigued! I currently compost all my shots in AE, but am intrigued (like many others) by the real-time compositor. It’s great to hear how others build their projects. Happy editing!
This one took me a bit more to release as I had a really busy period. But finally releasing the compositing episode with Daniel Nees : https://youtu.be/xZT-2Q6ErLY
Great tip 3:40, how to start working in the industry. Create something cool and the rest is easy. This is why I am telling everybody, to focus on the content and not worry about the details of making money.
There was a small break in the schedule, but I’m back on track now. Here’s the next episode with the founder of Polyhaven (anyone here who hasn’t used their assets ?) Greg Zaal ! It was a real pleasure talking to Greg (and meeting him later at the Blender Conference) . I hope you’ll enjoy the podcast : https://youtu.be/yMUTtTDxuWU?si=CaSykvYMZJ13EvV6
