Hi !
This year, I decided to learn about 3D art and got into using Blender.
After making a donut, I looked for a step-by-step guide, and I found this :
https://studio.blender.org/training/blender-fundamentals-45-lts/.
This is the result of the sculpting guide for a gnome, with vertex painting.
My aim is first to have an understanding of the tool, so I try not to focus too much making things look"perfect" (like with painting, where it requires more artistic skills than I currently have).
Eventually, I want to learn about the animation pipeline(s).
Here are a few steps :
There is a remeshing step at the end, after joining all the objects together, and the gnome lost the smooth look it got with the Multires modifier. Also, painting the shoes was messy, and I did not find out why.
Could you give me some feedback on this ?
Do you have sugestions on how it could have been made differently ?
Do you have suggestions on what to learn next ? For now, I plan to go on with the Blender Fundamentals training, UV Unwrapping being the next tutorial. I heard Grant Abbitt has good tutorial videos, I’ll also look into that.
Thank you for passing by !
