That does not look like shadows to me. It looks like bad geometry normals. Put the mesh in edit mode and try Recalculate Normals Outside (from the menu)
If that was indeed the problem, Juan, then when you are looking at your mesh in “Solid” mode, particularly when you have subsurf/smoothing on, look for “weird” spots that don’t quite look right. Those are where your normals might be flipped.
