It’s not important. Who care about exact percentage. No one software is perfect in every aspect, there will be always software which are better/faster in some area… or user just feel more comfortable in some software. Scene assembly, additional modelling, animation / rigging, material tweaking, light, rendering, etc. etc. For all this I don’t see any difference between Blender and “mainstream” software.

These renders are super clean. May I ask how many samples and what denoiser you are using? Also wondering what hardware you are rendering on and how long a frame is taking you.

Spectacular, man!

thanks again!

ermmm ok, i’m using cycles at ~250 samples, with the denoiser node on the compositor. For the video i used eevee though as i needed to render a ton more and didnt want to wait an eternity.

yeah that’s great that you can use cycles and EEVEE in the same project without too much tweaking to get your render time down for animation.

oof, hard to say as i can’t really remember. the closer the camera was the longer it took, i’d say in average 10-15 minutes per render (not for the video). And i have a gtx 970
