Can anyone give me a quick rundown (or point me somewhere useful) on how to use SVN and Blender-aid to manage production files? I’ve installed uber-SVN but I’m willing to use a different UI / install something else if anyone thinks any alternative is easier/better to use.
I’m in testing mode so I welcome all advice! I’m dual-booting Ubuntu 11.10 and Windows 7, and right now I’m just attempting to set up a system of file management between those two OS’s (without having to rely entirely on my external hard drives). But once I get it set up I plan to open it to the other people on my team (so I need a solution that can be accessed remotely).
