Tearing cloth in Blender

Is it possible to tear cloth in Blender?
Somethink like that plugin for 3DS MAX does:

there is no automatic way to do so as far as I know,

What I would do is bake the simulation to a particular point, then do a manual splitting where you think it should tear.

Thanks. But it would be nice to have such feature. Do you know a place where ppl leave requests for different features they would like to see in Blender or it scripts ?

there is bf-funboard a mailing list, there is a requests section on the wiki, and in the blender forum you can post requests.

What about this plug-in? I don’t know if you can do that effect with Topixcloth, but you can make clothes with it. :wink:
