Tearing/static problem


After learning a bit about 3ds max I’ve decided to give Blender a try, but I’m having a slight problem. Whenever I move the mouse around I get these black diagonal lines appearing across the screen that flicker for an instant and then go away. I’m using XP Media Center Edition on a Dell laptop with an nVidia Geforce Go 7800 GS. I’m also running in 32-bit color mode, because when I use 16-bit I don’t get the tearing problem, but the windows go all pink and grayed out whenever I do anything. Any suggestions?

Possibly turn down your graphics accelleration, or turn off antialiasing, or upgrade or downgrade your drivers those tend to solve 99% of graphics card issues.

Or turn off the shadow on the Mouse Cursor.
