But the text is “lying” on the XY-plane, not not “standing” on the XY-Plane. So it has to be rotated 90° on the spiral itself. But rotating the text 90° on the X-, Y- or Z-axis all doesn’t give what I want… How can I make the text “stand” on the spiral?
I dunno what happened with your original text, but I have replaced it with a new one, rotate it 90° on both X and Z axes, then add a Curve modifier and stick it to your Spiral curve and that’s it. Now just select your text and move it on the X axis and you’re good to go.
Edit the spiral. In the N side panel > Item tab you can set the Mean Tilt value for the points.
Select all and set to -90 or 90, whichever is correct.
Yes - this means with some work your text can spiral around the spiral.
Right, it’s working on Sergeys solution for me as well, but not on the original file with “Curve on Text”. Strange. But thanks for hint, this might be helpful in the future for me.
Thanks for clarifiying this. When you are new to Blender, you google a lot and it seems that a lot of instuctions or videos are still be based on old solutions.
