Hello everyone
with gimp I created an alpha image of a clock mechanism
, but in blender it’s not good.
as you can see in the image loaded in the UV editor, the alpha image with the cropped mesh is fine, while in 3d view it is not!
in 3d view indicated by blue arrows
you see a gray instead of black. L
and red arrows indicate where it’s OK.
what causes the problem?

Please post a complete screenshot showing the shader nodes and material property.

Some part of your transparent part… just maybe is not totally transparent ?? You may check the values in the image…
The black areas are also not correct. You should be able to see the green axis line through the largest black hole.
It looks like something else underneath.
Or another image mixed into the material.
