TEXTURE AND t KEY SCALE

i have a simple plane with a certain texture
where i have access to the T key then scale the texture mode

if i transfert this texture to anothere object with 16 material
i don’t have access anymore to the t Key feature
and the texture has change to almost horizontale lines
see pic

is there a way to be able to change the scale with t-Key

I don’t fully understand, but if you have shared a material between two objects, then changes in one affect the other unless you make them individual materials. Possibly this is part of the problem then? Mapping settings might then need adjustment once they are different materials.

if i copy the original text which you can see top left of preview window
to anothere surface it stays the same eepct in this case yo see the result on the right

it’s elongated and i cannot acces the texture with the T-Key functin ofr texture scaling
