I am doing a test render with an extruded bezier curve and get some tiny (vertical) streaking artifacts in one location
(in the lower middle in renderings from the attached blend file). These are also present if the object is textured, only perhaps less visible then.
Both renderers, Blender internal and cycles produce the same artifacts.
Increasing the rendering resolution of the bezier curve may alleviate this.
However, it is smearing the texture (at very high resolutions).
I also observed artifacts when rendering a simple plane object: always a diagonal line was visible (obviously from internal triangulation).
I am sure this can be disguised somehow. But I need to get completely rid of it, as I intend to set up datasets for stereoanalysis.
