Texture Baking Question.

Hey there. I’m just wondering if I sculpt out an awesome character for my video game, then bake the normals from my sculpted mesh onto my low poly mesh will it make it run like a charm in my game???

It will run better, absolutely. Presuming your game / machine can run in GLSL mode, which is required for displaying the normal map in realtime.
The improvement of performance will depend on the level of sculpted detail, teh size of your texture for the normal map etc, but yea, should work :slight_smile:

Honestly still learning blender and don’t exactly get textures and materials and coloring my models in general yet but figured I would ask =) thanks.
