Texture facing wrong direction


I have the horizontal lines going in the right direction, but they don’t follow the direction of the hat. I have also tried connecting the UV to Vector but still can’t get it to work. Any ideas? Thanks.

With proper UVs, it should be fine.
How did you unwrap this shape?


That’s what I got with your settings. I see the UVs are different though. What am I doing different?

Blender will stuggle to straighten an object with that many faces. But, you can do it with “follow active quads”.
